When alternate picking on guitar should I rest my pinky finger on the body of the guitar?
Should I rest the pinky finger on body of the guitar, like underneath the hi E string? I would like to practice fast alternate picking with a guitar pluck, but am not sure if I should or shouldnt rest the pinky finger lightly while picking... Ive checked out a few guitar lesson videos, but I cannot see clearly how the teachers go about picking the guitar...
