Guitar help please :)?
I've been playing guitar for about two years now and I'm playing on my first acoustic guitar, an Epiphone DR-100. I'm really trying to get better so hopefully I can convince my mom to spend her money on a decent guitar, which will hopefully be an electric. I have a deep musical background with piano and violin so learning guitar by myself was fairly easy. I've made my way through basic tabs and know all the basic chords and barre chords. I'm just looking for something to work on that might take me to the next level, if you know what I mean. Maybe some kind of method book? maybe start learning some jazz chords or working on blues scales? I really have no clue what to do so any advice would be great.

Epiphone Hummingbird or Epiphone EL-00?
This is going to be my first acoustic guitar and i've read reviews on them and they sound pretty good.
But I don't know which one to choose. I like the simple colours and designs on the EL-00, but I also like the designs on hummingbird.

How do you pull out an acoustic guitar "bridge pin"?
Last week I got my first acoustic guitar! But, hehe, I broke a string within the first hour of having it. I can't get to a shop so I ordered some elixir strings because they seemed to be best quality.
Though I think I know how to replace the broken string now, I can't seem to pull the bridge/pull pin out! And wiki/ehow scared me by saying to not use pliers becuase I'd bust up my fingernail :C Help?
Any other beginner/ no0b advice would be awesome~
