Learn To Play Guitar Chords
At the end of the day, you are going to have to learn all the chords anyhow but I have listed below the three chords that I think will lead you gently into the wonderful world of playing the guitar.
Learn To Play Guitar Chords
I have chosen these three chords because so many songs and music are based on them. Not just on guitar but music in general. They are easy to perform because they are in the key of C major. There are no sharps or flats. The notes in the key of C major are C D E F G A B.
The notes that are the basis of many songs are the 1st, 4th and 5th so that would mean C F and G.
Ok now we know which chords to learn first on guitar, how do you play them?

Just start off slowly and make sure you get the chord shapes correct. After a while you fingers will get used to the shapes. When they do, try moving from one chord to the other. It will feel very awkward at first and will make your finger tips sore and probably your forearm too but this will soon wear off as your finger tips harden and your forearm gets stronger.
Keep practicing every day and at the end of the third or fourth day, it will become almost automatic.
Listen to some music and see if you can hear the chord sounds. When you do, it will be worth every ache, pain and moment you have put in.
