Keep at it until you get the hang of it. Trying to read the tabs want be easy at first, so it going to take some getting use to, but once you get use to it you will see that you can quickly pick up on it now that you know how to read the tabs.
Make sure you listen to the song you are going to play, because even though you know the song, it will help you while you listen to the rhythm.
